Dow - Heinkel Complete Refurbishment.

This project was to supply two Heinkel HF800.1 centrifuges for a pharmacetucial in the U.K. on a tight schedule. 

Gemini sourced the machines and supervised their complete mechnacial refurbishment. The machines were stripped, degreased and repainted as new. New drawings were developed, penetration tests executed, all wearing parts replaced (lip seals, O rings, bearings etc.)

Once in perfect condition new instruments were installed and wired to new junction boxes. New motors were fitted and finally we married the machines to new control systems and drives.

Design documents scheduled within a Master Document Index (Mechanical & Electrical Drawings, P&ID, IL, FDS, HDS) together with Acceptence Test documents (FAT & SAT) were developed to provide the necessary documentary evidence to support the validation task.

A full FAT and then IQ/OQ was executed on both machines. The machines were installed on time and to budget.
